District and State Qualifications

Qualifying for the Central Ohio District Meet, Division I

Swimmers compete at Ohio State University


Boys Swimming: The top finisher from each event in each Sectional qualify for Districts. The next 28 next best times from all of the sectionals in the district for individual events and the next best 20 at-large relay positions qualify for the District Meet. This results in a total 32 individuals and 24 relays qualifying for each event.


Girls Swimming: The top finisher from each event in each Sectional qualify for Districts. The next 28 next best times from all of the sectionals in the district for individual events and the next best 20 at-large relay positions qualify for the District Meet. This results in a total 32 individuals and 24 relays qualifying for each event.


Qualifying for State Meet

There are four Districts within in our State. We take part in the Central Ohio District Meet, Division I.


Boys Swimming: The top two finishers from our district and eighteen at-large spots from all districts qualify for the State Meet for individual events. Relays will be top two places from our district with sixteen at-large spots There will be a total of 32 individuals and 24 relays from all districts qualifying for each event.


Girls Swimming: The top two finishers from our district and eighteen at-large spots from all districts qualify for the State Meet for individual events. Relays will be top two places from our district with sixteen at-large spots There will be a total of 32 individuals and 24 relays from all districts qualifying for each event.
